New e-twinning project : EUROPALS

Europals is a project aimed at young, creative students who are curious about the world and other cultures. Students, who are willing to exchange information, write emails, create presentations, record videos and whatever the imagination tells them to do. Be positive, be inventive and if you are 6 - 12 years old - that's perfect :)

"THE FONIX" COMPETITION

Quatre alumnes de l'escola han participat en la trobada pedagògica "Europa i currículum al Pla d'Urgell" organitzada pel Centre de Recursos, per tal d'explicar la seva experiència en el projecte E-Twinning.

THEATRE PLAY WITH GRANDMA ESPERANZA

Children from second of Primary  recived the visit of grandma Esperanza, she is the grandmother of one student in the class. She came to school to help us with an  activity in English. We all together represented the play of the Big Bad Wolf. It was great fun.  Thank you Esperanza and we hope to see you soon.

ETWINNING VIDEO FROM ITALY

The school from Italy send us this video to thank the children for the package we sent them for Easter. We are very happy they have liked our Easter eggs and we can't wait for the package they will send us.

TALK BY SHAUNA BAWN

Last Monday Shauna Bawn visited our school to tell us interesting things about two important buildings we are working in our school project: Tah Majal and Sidney Opera House. Children from 3rd to 6th grade were listening carefully and they really enjoyed the talk. Thank you very much for coming here!

CLASSROOM PROJECTS

Students from 1st and 2nd grade are working on the "buildings project" and "family project" during the Art class.

ENGLISH CORNERS

Once a week students from third to sixth grade are working in small groups to practice English language. We learn English while we are singing pop songs, playing board games, acting out short stories..

EASTER EGGS

Easter is coming soon so pupils from 1st grade to 6th grade  have made amazing Easter eggs in Art classes.
We are exchanging this activities with the schools participating in the e-twinning project.

III ENGLISH DAY

6th grade students have celebrated the third English Day in Mollerussa with other schools around el Pla d'Urgell.

MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO

During this second term we have joined to a new european project "etwinning" called   MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO", in this project we have different countries as partners and we share different experinces in the school related to healthy food.

HOUSES AND BUILDINGS

Students from 1st and 2nd grade have done crafts about buildings, which is the project they are working in the classroom.

 

THEATRE IN ENGLISH "SPINDERELLA"

Students from 3rd and 4th grade went to L'Amistat theatre to watch Spinderella, a play in English. It was a very actual adaptation of the traditional Cindrella.  Children spent  a good time participating singing and dancing. It was great fun!!!
